Supporting Filter Sheets (we refer it as SFS). The product is made of fine and pure plantsĄŻ fibers, so it has excellent wet strength and better functions as supporting sheets for the filtration materials such as diatomaceous earth and or perlite etc, which can be pre-coated to SFC together with other filtering-assistant materials (filter aids). SFS is widely used in the plate-and-frame filtering press for liquids filtration/solution. (it is an indispensable affiliated accessory to such type of plate-and-frame filtering press. It has strong acid / alkali resistance, and Ph 2-10 water solution has no effect to its structure and quality. It can be re-used for 15 times if you adopt our correct protective ways and re-coat it with our filter aids (products) after you finish using it. This SFC can be divided as two categories:
a. SFS for beverage and syrup production / filtration. This kind of product is applied in the plate-and-frame filtering press as the preliminary filtration stage.
All the materials and filter aids to make the product, its production management and quality control are up to food grade.
The main specifications are: nominal/standard thickness 3.2-3.5mm; thicker ones: 3.6-4.0mm; pore diameter 40-50µm; density/co***ctness >0.28g/ cm³; Other specifications such as porosity rate, air blast resistance, wet burst strength, water passage speed, moisture, ashes etc are in conformity with quality standards.

b. SFS for pharmaceuticals solutions. All the materials and filter aids to make the product, its production management and quality control are up to pharmaceutical grade. This kind of filter sheets is specially used for the filtration of AC (activated carbon).
The main specifications are: thickness >3.5mm; pore diameter 3.6-40µm; density / co***ctness >0.32g/cm³. Other specifications such as porosity rate, air blast resistance, wet burst strength, water passage speed, moisture, ashes etc are in conformity with quality standards.
